There are among landmarks a medieval tower that used to be used in the 19th century to imprison criminals, an 18th-century church, a house on the square where governors used to live and now can accommodate tourists and a lighthouse built in the 19th century in a neoclassical style.

Tabarca Fortress Defensive Wall
The defensive wall of Tabarca Island built all around the island to protect from pirates and enemy attacks.
At present, there are separate sections of it, which were reconstructed in accordance with a special plan for the restoration of Tabarca structures, adopted in the second half of the twentieth century. The wall has several gates, all of them in the Baroque style.
Tabarca Lighthouse
The lighthouse was build in 1854 according to the design of Agustín Elcoro Berocíbar. The two-storey building has the shape of a cube. By its architectural style, it belongs to neoclassicism.
In 1971, a new reinforced concrete lighthouse was built beside the old building but demolished in 1998 due to the restoration of the original lighthouse. Today the lighthouse serves as the biological laboratory of the marine reserve.
