Terms of the Service
BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY
A full amount payment is required to secure a reservation. No funds are charged at the moment of the booking. The administration registers and contacts the costumer to ensure a successful experience before any funds are collected. The payment will be collected before the tour to the same credit card used in the booking form. Payments can be made online, over the phone, or email by credit or debit card.
All tours cancelled outside of 30 days from the date of the tour will be refunded in full, less a 10% administrative costs and cancellation costs (to a maximum of €100). Payments made for any activity which is cancelled within 30 days of the date of the activity are refundable on the next basis:
* less 15% charge as administrative costs and cancellation costs of the total amount if cancelled with more than 10 days and less than 30 days.
* less 25% charge as administrative costs and cancellation costs of the total amount if cancelled with more than 3 days and less than 10.
* less 35% charge as administrative costs and cancellation costs of the total amount if cancelled within 48 hours.
It will be considered lack of presentation at departure if the consumer does not communicate his/her willingness not to join the trip and does not show up at the time and place provided for departure. In this case, he/she loses the right to the refund of the amounts delivered and remains obliged to pay those that were pending payment, unless otherwise agreed between the parties.
However, if the lack of presentation takes place due to major force, the consumer shall be entitled to a refund of the amounts delivered, less administrative costs and cancellation costs. To these effects, the death, accident or serious illness of the consumer or of any of the persons with whom he lives or any similar assumption that prevents him from participating in the trip and informing the agency of this impossibility before departure shall be considered a cause of force majeure.
Every attempt will be made to adhere to our scheduled itinerary. However, participants acknowledge and willingly accept the possibility of unexpected changes to our route and itinerary. Safety issues, weather and/or any extenuating circumstances beyond our control may contribute to this possibility. Should these changes affect your post-tour travel plans, Van Tours will not be responsible for additional expenses incurred by tour members (non-refundable airline tickets, rental cars, hotel reservations, etc).
Van Tours reserves the right to cancel scheduled tours that do not meet our minimum participation requirements (usually 3 guests). In the event of a cancellation, guests will be notified as soon as possible, always prior to their tour departure. The Van Tours will provide a full-refund of any monies paid, or guests may select another tour date. The Van tours will not be responsible for additional expenses incurred by tour members (non-refundable airline tickets, rental cars, hotel reservations, etc).
By contracting our product(s)/service(s) we assume you have been informed about all terms and conditions and you accept these terms and conditions in full.
The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and any or all Agreements: “Consumer”, “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions: “Van Tours”, “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect
of provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.
The contract is governed by the stipulations contained therein and by the provisions of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, Consolidated Text of the General Law for the Defense of users and other complementary laws.
Users are advised that the full final price is that published in the prospectus, offer or in its appendices, and that they have been calculated in accordance with the concepts in force on the date specified in the particular conditions of the prospectus. All prices contained in the brochure, offer or in its appendices, may be revised, both at the registration and the withdrawal, in accordance with art. 157 of the Law, and in the terms indicated in said article, to incorporate variations on the concepts of the previous paragraph. The revisions must be communicated to the user before the 10 days prior to the departure date, and to incorporate changes in the price of the transport, including the cost of fuel, taxes and fees related to certain services and the exchange rates applied to the trip.
Not incl.: Visas, vaccination certificates, excess baggage in air transport, extras in hotels such as coffees, wines, liquors, mineral waters, special diets, washing and ironing clothes, optional hotel services, excursions and optional visits, etc. And in general, another service that does not appear expressly in the section “prices include”.
